The American people funded most of the infrastructure for the Internet yet they are being screwed over by ISPs. It's like you paying a contractor to build a house for you but the contractor thought it's too cozy and settles in for himself. He will allow you to rent it, if he feels like it. There are images going around saying internet packages yada yada yada. I don't think that will happen. What's sure to happen first is throttling. Been there, experienced it first hand how shitty it was not being able to watch youtube in 1080p during prime time. This literally makes me sad cause Internet usage is like the only source of entertainment I have after a tiring day at work. I remember going to r/videos and not being able to watch the videos real time. Had to wait for them to load up. So many dumb people in this country. The system is in place to make dum dums dumber.
