Noire? That's saying black, it's totally acceptable just as much saying black is, but then again sometimes that isn't acceptable and it's preferable to say african. Dunno

There's a N word in french too, and it actually has a proper feminine version as well (i.e. the word changes depending on the sexe context), and honestly that would be the right question to ask in the TC.

After all, most of the african continent was subject to french language imperialism and rule, it would be the most relevant word to be asked about

How about Americans from African descent when talking about socio-economic problems.
And dark skinned when relevant, like when buying sun screen or taking a photo with a black background.

And for the rest don't bother discriminating between skin colours.
A lot of black people are genetically closer to white people than to other black people originating from different regions. Why differentiate? We're biologically not only the same species but also the same race.

chimpanzees and humans share 96 percent of the same dna.

So it would be interesting to see how all the races compare genetically

You are not completely correct; humans (Homo sapiens) and Chimps (Pan troglodytes) share 98.8% of their DNA. Not 96%.

Chimps and Bonobos are our closest extant species. However, sharing 98.8% of DNA does not mean they're 98.8% the same. As explained in an article I read a while ago, the DNA might be the same, but the genes are often in other places, leading to different results. The chimps in zoos are a completely different species from us humans.

https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/tiny-genetic-differences-between-humans-and-other-primates-pervade-the-genome/
Here's the article. It's easy to read and has very cool pictures :)

https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/sa-visual/similarities-between-human-and-chimp-genomes-revealed-by-hilbert-curve/
here's more

Race in humans is a social construct. It's not based on biology or science. It was invented to differentiate between people from different cultures. Mainly between whites, blacks and asians, and often not with very good intentions.
In reality a european white person can be more genetically different from another white european person than from a black person from Africa.
((think green eyed red haired freckled sturdy build white person compared to a brown haired brown eyed slim build white person) The other way around, a black person is often more genetically different from another black person from another place in africa than from a white person.)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_(human_categorization)#Defining_race
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homo
https://en.wikiversity.org/wiki/Human_DNA

Modern variance in human genome is not great enough to consider sub species or races.
We're all Homo sapiens.

As to answer your question how much all humans vary genetically: less than 0.1%

I do not know if I believe modern science.

I don't know what you mean by that. Science isn't something you can or can not believe in.
It's a word with the meaning: the human effort to understand and explain the world around them using testable explanations. "modern science" adds objectivity and reproducibility.
It's just a word, like "clock" or "book" or "water", you can't believe it.

I honestly don't know what you're after, and you could've looked this up yourself:
Scientific racism is the pseudoscientific belief that empirical evidence exists to support or justify racism (racial discrimination), racial inferiority, or racial superiority. Alternatively, it is the practice of classifying individuals of different phenotypes or genotype into discrete races.

I regularly say negro to my friends, most usually as a last-second self-censor. I haven't noticed any of my non-black friends doing the same though, so maybe you all are right about it being offensive.

What do white people think of being called blanco? It sounds really cool and it emphasizes how white they are.
Or what about "puti nga"? That sounds cool too and it means white in another language. Or "fotsy" or "funfun"?
I'm sure you'll love to be called fotsy instead of your name.
