Promised to be a wonderful blend of AAA Japanese and Western talent, including Nobuo Uematsu, with an estimated release of mid-2015. That year, they said it was nowhere close to being finished and promised a 2018 date. Released a short 10 minute demo in 2014 and since then nothing else but some music and art. Somehow they managed to squander the funds they received from Kickstarter and announced that they'd stop putting finances into it and instead put it into a small game that you now know is Tiny Metal, and that if THAT game is a financial success, they'll return to Project Phoenix. Possibly a carryover from my youth (I've been gaming on consoles since I was like 4, just the way I do it). Already have my setup the way I like it (a shitty reason, as I could easily rearrange things and game on PC). KBM is nice sometimes, but I like the feel of a controller (again, easily corrected with a purchase of another controller/adapter). Just set in my ways I guess. Also am a victim of that bullshit trophy/achievement shit and I get a sense of... I guess for lack of a better word, "purpose", for completing a list of tasks. And as I have my task list/meaningless reward system attached to PSN (was Xbox before with 360 but I was able to cut the cord from that), I'd rather play a game within that system.
