Glad you got it too Admiral. I doubt we will be complaining about this thing once we start using it.

No, I'm sure it will be amazing. I stopped by BB last night to check it out in person. It's even more impressive when you can see other screens right next to it. It's supposed to arrive on Monday, and I've blocked off the night to configure it and get the image to look perfect.

Yeah uhh don't mind me if I avoid that like the plague

The reviews on that TV are pretty great for the price. Given that it also has built-in Roku, I would definitely go for that if I were on a budget or living in college and didn't want to risk getting a high-end display that could be ruined.

I feel like you could get a much better looking 1080p TV for a similar price. 4k doesn't mean much when the picture quality is ass, and unless you've already dished out the money for a 4K Blu-ray player and/or a 4K capable console/PC, you're not even utilizing the resolution.

Budget 4K is just a completely backwards concept to me.

Sort of tempted here but that's still a bit steep, might have to put this on the backburner and see what TVs can be had on the cheap for now

Blatantly false. Some brands are made far better than others and use better technology and parts.

Yeah, there are clear, established tiers of brands. At the top is the big 4: Samsung, LG, Sony, and Panasonic. Mid tier is stuff like Vizio. Bottom tier are the plethora of no-name brands that look like calculators.
