There's this overtly homoerotic undercurrent going on in it all but on the surface they try and act all manly. But really it's just this desire to be with other dudes. Running around half naked, doing stupid shit, dares, way too touchy feely, being in close proximity 24/7, etc. And frats and such are just a way to live it out without being out.
