SNES, GBA, or this redux hack I see posted?

I've played a little of both, enjoyed what I did, but couldn't finish for one reason or another. I'm gonna be free this week because of Thanksgiving, so I want to play it through to start my Zelda journey.

Don't know about a redux hack unless you're talking about the randomizer. If that's the case, avoid the randomizer for a long time, as that's beyond expert mode.

In the case of SNES vs GBA ports, the answer is pretty much always SNES. I can't think of a single SNES port that wasn't watered down and/or made easier in some way. My biggest issue is the different soundbytes used for the music.

FFIV has glitches that make the game easier, the DKC games were also a bit easier due to reasons I'm not sure how to explain (normally well-hidden bonuses are a lot more visible due to the low resolution, for one thing). Although Pacifica in DKC3 was admittedly pretty tough.
