It took me a bit to learn the sword's moves but I figured it was pretty important to the fight, what with it being in the room and all.

I DID die a good few times before seeing the sword, though...:/

Same. I think that should be considered when judging him. Its like taking an hour to solve a puzzle but then judging it based on how fast you can do it now that you already worked it out.

Okay I just one-shot the Dancer of the Boreal Valley. She looked so intimidating! Was there something wrong with my game? She just walked around a lot and let me chop her butt. The worst thing she did was grab me and slam me but that was my fault.

Even that boss right before her, Arilith or whatever her name was, was pretty easy. She just had a lot of super-powerful attacks to dodge. I can't decide whether or not the game is chumping out at the end or if I've just learned the game enough.

I'm not trying to brag and I'm not lying and I'm really curious as to why. I seriously thing my game fucked up or something because I completely expected a really hard boss.

yea, I beat the Dancer on first try, but her moved were were pretty hard for me to get down, so I think I was left with no more estuses

I agree that Aldrich also wasn't that hard, but it took me about two or three tries.

the bosses feel "epic", though, so I don't really mind.

Aldrich took me a few shots too and I always got too cocky with her rain of arrows.

The music is amazing in this game. I love that piece that plays when you fight Yhorm and the Dancer's song was awesome too. They did a great job with the soundtrack. And the fact that music only plays during either the safety of the Shrine or during a boss fight makes the intensity that much more.

IIRC playing the game for hours straight bugs out the AI and makes it more passive.

Some weird glitch. Can't remember the specifics or anything, or even if it was patched.

Maybe that though?

Dark Souls / Bloodborne for me is all about the journey. I love exploring new areas and seeing new monsters and bosses. The meta doesn't interest me at all. It's all about the journey and once that's over, it's over.

I will do the DLC, though.

Yhorm was an easy fight with the storm ruler, but I had one of my most epic Souls fights against him. Some guy summoned me and didn't use the sword for whatever reason, so we had to fight him just sloooowly chipping away at his health and dodging like crazy.

When we finally brought him down, we were both completely out of Estus. The fight itself probably took around 15 minutes, too - I used the Xbox's DVR capture for the previous 5 minutes of footage, and that didn't cover even half of the fight, lol

The Dragonslayer Armor was a ton of fun to fight. I liked it a lot.

Is the Grand Archive the last zone? I feel like I'm reaching the end.

I hate the Yhorm fight, they threw away a kick ass looking boss so you could go "OH YEAH I MEMBER DOING THIS" with the storm ruler

I'd say easiest boss still goes to Wolnir, dude's a freakin' joke

The music was awesome, too. That moment of "Oh shit!" when I entered the boss room was awesome, but the actual defeat of the boss was lackluster.

And Wolnir was sad. I broke his first bracelet by accident, just swinging away, and thought that after I broke all three he'd swap to another form but nope it was the end of his life.

The Crystal Sage boss is the easiest. I remember just charging him and spamming R1 and he died in like 5 seconds
