Is it like supposed to be bad Like is it supposed to be a parody of all these super grimdark and overly dramatic teen shows? if the Adam West Batman show is a 10 in terms of camp, Riverdale is like... a 3 it's also kinda self-aware though it definitely still has a comic book feel to it - I think it's a good adaptation and I enjoy it, though I still think Archie could be replaced with Derek Zoolander and no one would know the difference some of the self-aware lines really stuck in my head: early on in the show, Veronica asks "can't we, in this post-James Franco world, be anything we want?" there's also a scene where Betty and Veronica ~~try out for the cheerleading team and make out on the floor as part of the routine, and the leader says "faux lesbian kissing hasn't been taboo since the 90s"~~ --- peanut butter and dick <cite>averagejoel posted [p:890591672] in Riverdale ...
