They tried to teach us at work today, but it didn't seem like something to worry about. They said a micro aggression is something that be intentional or unintentional that makes the other person perceive as negative towards their race, gender, whatever

Affirmative action is a microaggresion because it implies minorities are not talented or skilled enough to get hired by large corporations without having quotas to legally fill.

There's not much difference except for the topic of dickery. How difficult can it be to not belittle someone's race/gender/ethnicity/origin etc, no matter how subtle or clever one thinks they are?
