If you mean just attractiveness then no. However they're going to want someone that looks presentable and isn't going to look like a slob when they show up to work.

if i get the job i interviewed for yesterday then it's going to be 100% based on my appearance, because i looked dapper as fuck in my fitted suit and fresh fade but i babbled like a moron and said absolutely nothing of value for about 90% of the conversation

Of all the interviews ive been in, they ultimately boil down to our "feelings" about the person.

How were they dressed? If they tried to be sharp, were they wearing a $100 suit or a $1000 suit.

Did they smell nice, have no scent, or did they have bo/bad breath

How did they speak? Proper unbroken english? Or were they speaking like they would at a bar with friends (You might be shocked but we have had people drop F bombs in interviews)

And finally yes, attractiveness can and does help ultimately. Especially in what I do, if there is a female that is spot on with everything AND she is attractive, she will get the job every time... Little dirty secrete, but if we have been trying to land a contract and are just getting shut down right away, we will send an attractive female who will then say the other person you were talking to has left the company, I am your new sales rep... and they get in the door 70-80% of the time where an experienced sales rep had been trying to get a foot in the door for months/years
