I want to always go. It's fun. I like improvement. Pretty girls. Gym bros.

The gym is awesome.

But I'm afraid if I go too frequently that bulking will be affected. People always say big weight, small reps, and rest days are crucial for getting big.

Any thoughts?

Really? I'm someone who loses weight incredibly quickly. I've always been terrified to even look at a threadmill in case I lose a pound (which is like a dagger to the kidney).

What can cardio do for me?

You asked what to do instead of lifting too much. Mixing cardio in instead of lifting let's you go to the gym without worrying about over lifting.

Lately most health blogs seem to agree that cardio is a waste of time. Really not sure what to believe.

Cardio is a waste of time? How is exercise a waste?

And weight is usually determined by diet and not exercise. Don't worry about over working.

And define bulking. Usually most people think of bulking as eating a lot of crap and lifting more, which will net you more muscle with more fat. You can gain the same muscle from just eating right and keep the fat off.

For both. Weight training is supposed to be more effective overall. Cardio is still good for getting your heart rate down and VO2 up though.
