Exactly this. Christians are not persecuted in the US for being Christians. If you think they are, you are wrong. Muslims, on the other hand, are clearly and demonstrably discriminated against solely on their religion. I am an atheist. No god or gods exist. But like any rational human, I think people should be free to worship how they wish, and be whatever religion they want...as long as they are not using their religion to force its beliefs onto others via political means and legislature. That is where I draw the line. I do not want Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, whatever you want to call your belief in nonsense, to influence the government in any way. Christianity is the biggest offender by far in the US. Call me when Muslims are trying to pass literal sharia law into legislature.
