I suppose whatever ideas they had for a movie would've been better, but I can't see how much better... glad it got demoted to a TV series most people aren't even aware of so it doesn't tarnish the MCU films...

Marvel's Runaways is premiering in a week on Hulu and it's getting some very high end reviews, a lot of critics calling it the best non-Netflix Marvel show to date.

Also The Gifted is pretty great. I'm still trying to push through Inhumans but it's such a mess.

I think maybe a movie budget would have made it good maybe? Who would have thought Guardians of the Galaxy would be one of the greatest movies of all time, and that has not just a tree but a talking raccoon.

Then again... Even conceptually, I never liked Inhumans as they're presented in the comics. Some royal family that lives on the moon? What? A dude who never speaks because his voice is booming and can destroy everything any time he does? Medusa hair?

I didn't even hear about the show until a month ago. I always knew something Inhumans related was "in the works" but I was still going by the news that an Inhumans movie was coming out in 2019 after they're done with avengers 3. I had no idea that they actually already "finished" an 8 episode show and had it released this fall. If you can call that nonsense finished. How could they taint the Marvel name with this garbage...

Agents of Shield is the tits. You make it through that first half of season one and there are tons of goodness ahead of you.

Inhumans...was just bleh. Not the worst thing in the world, but nowhere near anything I'd call "good".

Agents of Shield is good from the very start. It had strong buffy scooby gang vibes and set up a lot of cool stuff (true in hindsight most of it amounted to nothing like Gravitron but nevertheless)

Especially the last season of AoS which is one of my favorite seasons of a television show ever.

The team was whisked away to outer space at the very end of the finale. I mean if Inhumans flopped hard enough AoS may never actually interact with the new Inhuman royalty on Earth or the destroyed city on the moon, but would be kinda weird if a show that has regularly dealt with Inhuman threats never hears a peep from them ever again.

These came out like years before this inhumans garbage, and hopefully aos isn't made retroactively bad by Inhumans forcing its way into the continuity.

Honestly, it's just so drastically bad from the same studio that released all these other great projects, that one wonders whether or not they were aware this was crap before they sent it out for release and thus are not going to include it into the general canon.

Yeah that was actually my reason as well, I was thinking it was going to be so bad it's good or the room level quality as that other user said. I wanted to watch it just for its infamy, thinking I'd get a few laughs. But it's not even that type of bad. It's just plain ole infuriating.

Hey what's the deal with that Runaways show? Hulu is doing Marvel shows too now?

There's no way Guardians of the Galaxy is one of the greatest movies of all time. The characters are weak and that racoon is the most embarrassing character I think I've ever seen in a movie.
