As in, "Vegeta" was their family name, and "King" and "Prince" were their names. That's why Beerus calls Bulma "Mrs. Vegeta" at one point. I don't think it's true, but it was a neat thought. So either Trunks should now(or eventually) be the prince, or isn't a rightful heir as half-breed.
