Do you think topics should be allowed to go past 500? If so do you think it should be a higher limit or no limit at all?

no limit, but keep the archive mechanic. punish contentless posts from anyone other then the TC, and even from the TC after a certain number in a row (3? 5?)
good topics should be able to go as long as necessary. topics that have run out of steam don't need to be bumped for three months with no new discussion just because 500 is considered an achievement. --- Boom!
