I have pretty inhibiting social anxiety, which kind of prevents me from getting professional treatment. Ever since I was able to speak I've had my parents do talking for me in public places. It takes me forever to warm up to strangers. I'm also prone to fits of rage over innocuous things.

When I was a kid I was diagnosed with tourette syndrome(because of "nervous ticks") and ADHD.

OCD, Social Anxiety Disorder, and General Anxiety.

I do ok except when in a very unfamiliar territory by myself or if something starts to go terribly wrong. For example, if I get very hypochondriac if something starts going wrong with me health-wise. Otherwise I'm just fine. The OCD doesn't bother me NEAR as much as when I was a kid. I haven't taken meds in 4 years. My doctor tried to put me back on meds a couple years ago when I was in his office like once a week for health stuff, but the phase passed and I've only been there like 4 times in the last 2 years. I still get incredibly anxious if I think something is wrong though.

Not really. I mean, I've had a few panic attacks, but not for any real reason. I get nervous, but pretty much everyone does so I hardly consider anxiety as a mental illness. I certainly wouldn't take a pill because I'm nervous about something! I'll figure it the hell out and fix the problem; if I can't do that, I'll get over it.

I've known people who can't really get by the anxiety to fix/get over things, though. Obviously just talking about in my case.

Some things I do go all OCD over, but I wouldn't think I actually have full-on OCD. My partner gets very irritated with the fact that, if I haven't watched the first film in a series within freaking days of watching a second (and this goes for games, books, and everything else), I HAVE to watch the first. HAVE TO. I actually get irritated with it myself.

Yeah, I'm diagnosed with Bipolar II. My last psychiatrist said I may have an anxiety disorder and, while not depressed, have a tendency to get "stuck" in depressive cycles. I stopped going a few years ago so never got a complete diagnosis regarding the latter two disorders.

Also, not really a disorder/illness, but I have this thing where I hear sounds as colours which is cool. My sister has it with words and letters. Interesting that I'm pursuing a music career and she writes for a living.
