I used to watch it religiously as a kid, and sadly i don't remember ANYTHING about it besides vague images of the last episode and the 2 main characters becoming side characters in stargate atlantis lol

Ben Browder and Claudia Black became two of the main characters in the later seasons of Stargate: SG1. There was probably some crossover with Atlantis. That's probably what you're thinking of.

And, yeah, Farscape was one of my favorite sci-fi series growing up. My favorite characters were John, Aeryn, D'Argo, Crais, and Scorpius, but the whole cast was great.

Right, SG-1 not atlantis, they did show up on atlantis later on i think maybe that's why i got confused.

Also that movie about claudia black's character daughter being the goddess of the Ori or something and wanting to control the universe, right?

Yea it's great.

As a kid I thought it was terrible when it aired. Saw it on Netflix 2 years ago and wanted to see how bad it was and I ended up loving the show.

It's one of those cheesy 90's science fiction series that ends up being amazing, at least that's how i remember it.

Was so sad when it finished, but by then i also discovered Stargate SG-1 and then Atlantis... too bad Universe was dogshit.

Never made sense to me that when it was on netflix they had the series but not peacekeeper wars. I've seen peacekeeper wars once or so and never saw the series end until I watched it all on netflix. God I laughed my ass off.

I was a huge fan of Farscape during its run and still am. Its a shame it doesn't get the respect it deserves. It was very revolutionary in a lot of things it did for a sci-fi series, but I blame a major of this comes from SyFy Channel.

Besides cancelling the series during its fourth season they never promoted the show. After airing a seaon on their channel they should have syndicated it on TV to build an audience.

As for why SyFy cancelled the show it was because they thought the budget needed to do the fifth season was too costly when they read the outline for it. We were lucky to even get the PeaceKeeper Wars to finish the series and that was because of the hardcore fans. They started a movement to get the show back by each person mailing the SyFy Channel office boxes of crackers, which is a nod to the episode "Crackers Don't Matter" where the only food the characters could afford to buy in bulk were crackers.

Another reason, though I can't 100% confirm, is SyFy Channel at that time got the rights to air Stargate SG-1, so they put all their attention into that, which is why I've never liked that show. Sure, SG1 was popular, but is became that way because Showtime did what SyFy didn't with Farscape and syndicated it.

I rewatched the original run recently, IMO it still holds up well.

I also love that it was filmed here in Australia.
