You shouldn't attempt it until near the end of the main game or after, it's definitely the hardest region. I want to get it but I'd have to play through the main game again as I don't have any save data on it. I don't think I have the motivation. It's the same reason I never got the Blood and Wine DLC for Witcher 3

I bought the main game on PSN when it was on sale for $28. I was eyeing it for so long. Then a few days later it drops to $20 xD
