II have to come up with a 5 page paper on a social psychology concept that can be applied to the classroom in the form of an active demonstration...but I am so uncreative, I cannot think of anything. I was thinking of doing something related to conformity/groupthink, or like cognitive dissonance...but it hard to think of anything I can do in a classroom setting.

You have to make it work on a class, or you just have to present the idea in class?

I have to make it as if I were demonstrating it on a class-but I'm not actually doing it. Have to include research on the phenomenon too

Duck duck goose. Easy explain how the pecking order in social situations determines largely the order in which people are chosen to be the goose.

You could do the telephone game, or whatever it's called. You tell one student a secret sentence. They have to pass it on to one person, a whisper in the ear. That person has to pass it on to the next, etc., until it gets back to you and you and the first person tell everyone how intact the sentence did or did not remain. Most likely it will not be the same sentence you first gave when you first began to pass it on. So, many implications to this demonstration, like do people fuck it up on purpose, what's the consequence of the community not getting it right or not honoring the sentence as is, is there a problem with language, what kind of behavior do people engage in when this kind of trust is put on them, etc.
There you go. You're welcome.

How about "How to share ideas effectively". Blindfold someone, and give them a spoonful of chocolate syrup. Ask them if they want more, answer will likely be "Yes". Stick the nozzle in their mouth and squeeze the bottle as hard as you can. Ask again if they want more. Answer will be "No".

Summary: Present your ideas gently, get a positive response, force your ideas, even if it's something that they agree with, it will be rejected.

Foot-in-the-door phenomenon. I'm definitely using this, thank you so much!!

Happy to help. A few small things, make sure that your volunteer is someone that won't get terribly upset about this, to get a proper response, they cannot know in advance. Cover their clothes, this could get messy.

I did this in college for a psychology class. I got an A, and slapped by my volunteer.
