In theory, yeah, but most white people dont get too tore up about it. Id say most white people are more offended of the idea that they are being singled out on the basis of race, than the actual connotations associated with the term cracker.

Its racist if you recognize someones race before their argument. The very fact you see someone as white, black, brown, or yellow, before hearing what they have to say is inherently racist no matter what race you are. Yes, even blacks and other races can be racist. In fact most overt racism comes from "minorities"

So your judgment is based on how the person feels? That isnt accurate because there are a whole lot of sensitive people in this world that will take offense to everything. Culture and policy should not and never bend to those who cry loudest.
