But yeah, the MCU movies go for a lot of jokes and some of them miss. MariaTaylor 11/07/17 8:18:51 PM #61:	seems like everyone else already covered it. not that I'm an expert or anything. anyway my impressions would be something like... most of the movies are good but not great. there's a few bad ones (avengers 2, thor 2, probably some others I'm forgetting) and mediocre ones mixed in there. the only great ones I think are worth watching, that I'd seriously recommend to others, are Guardians of the Galaxy and Dr. Strange. maybe Homecoming, too, especially if you're into spider-man. but sadly that movie is bogged down by having such a huge connection to the MCU that you almost can't suggest someone go watch it as a stand alone movie in good faith. hard for me to say since I was already familiar with the MCU, but I feel like if I hadn't seen all of the movies then I would have been pretty confused and disappointed. I got to see Winter Soldier with eddv in the theaters so that probably enhanced the experience but, that being said, I don't remember anything special about the movie thinking back. the plot was solid but it was mostly action driven.
