Maybe I should note that my only experience with the MCU is GotG, which I quit after 20 minutes. I just wasn't feeling the humor. I'll give it another shot since it seems highly regarded (and somewhat independent of the rest).

Marvel humor is ass

GotG's humor is kind of hit or miss for me. It's a bit more crass than what the MCU usually puts out.

But yeah, the MCU movies go for a lot of jokes and some of them miss. That's just part of it.

I like nearly all of the MCU. I wish I could say the same for DC's sad excuse of a movie universe since I like their characters more :(

Just release order of the movies will be fine. They're all good and well worth seeing.

There's no need to see anything else (like the TV shows).

Lopen your list is honestly perfect.

Thor 3 might be 6th for me, even though Thor 1 and 2 are very low. Gotta let it settle a bit more before I decide.

seems like everyone else already covered it. not that I'm an expert or anything. anyway my impressions would be something like...

most of the movies are good but not great. there's a few bad ones (avengers 2, thor 2, probably some others I'm forgetting) and mediocre ones mixed in there. the only great ones I think are worth watching, that I'd seriously recommend to others, are Guardians of the Galaxy and Dr. Strange. maybe Homecoming, too, especially if you're into spider-man. but sadly that movie is bogged down by having such a huge connection to the MCU that you almost can't suggest someone go watch it as a stand alone movie in good faith. hard for me to say since I was already familiar with the MCU, but I feel like if I hadn't seen all of the movies then I would have been pretty confused and disappointed. I got to see Winter Soldier with eddv in the theaters so that probably enhanced the experience but, that being said, I don't remember anything special about the movie thinking back. the plot was solid but it was mostly action driven. I guess the action was good, though. maybe that's why people liked it. civil war was probably closer to great than good. same with the first avenger. basically the cap movies are some of the most important ones and they're all pretty good.

To be perfectly honest while I can have a lot of criticisms of Marvel's movies they're all really well-made and even the worst ones have a bunch of cool and funny moments that make them worth watching at least once.
