I've been flicked going a lot faster than that and never once was put in cuffs.

Also the one time the cop actually wrote me a ticket the judge lowered it to two points and let me off.

Sounds to me like there is more to the story.

My current car offers 300+ hp. I've rented Mustangs and Camaros with 400+ hp.

I live in Virginia. We have some of the harshest traffic laws in the country. Anything over 80 MPH total, or 20 MPH relative to the limit, is an automatic reckless charge w/ suspension of license
