Totally should have been the S6 finale IMO, they killed all suspense they had been building up. Kinda like foreplay and no fucking finish. --- Working in a team is great! It felt like they were relying on stunts to keep the audience interested rather than telling a good story, and the Negan cliffhanger certainly reinforced that. Even beyond that, though, I just got a little weary of the shows nature. Theres just no hope, everything is terrible and there is no possibility of that changing. Its just a slow march towards the next main character death. I legit thought he died, which would have not only been a shocking death but the fact that no one else would know would add something that twd hasn't done yet.... which is the audience knowing someone died but not the cast. Plus it would have added legit tension to the negan cliffhanger. But the way they did it ruined both. Since then, the bad cgi deer/tiger, the bmx pads=plot armor, the corny dialogue, the inexplicably bad decisions made by the characters, the poorly choreographed gun fights, and most of all, them damn garbage pail kids has just made it impossible to take twd seriously anymore.
