Been noticing strands of hair when I wash my face or shower.

No bald spots on the top of my head as far as I know. Thinking they might be falling off my bangs cause they're pretty long right now..

Ama.

How could I tell?

Like I've tried grabbing at the top of my head and nothing comes out easily. If I put wax in my hair a few strands come off, but it's from my bangs.

Is it just occasional strands or is it like clumps?

Are you stressed about anything?

Have you noticed a change in your hairline?

This.

I'm on fin, and my only regret is I didn't start sooner. Fin and rogaine, make an appointment with you doc TC to discuss. You might think you don't care, then one day you look in the mirror and you're a thinning, disgusting mess

You can post a pic of your hairline if you want. It's pretty obvious to other people to see the typical M shape pattern of male hairloss.

Also, chances are if you think you're losing your hair... you are

Couple strands.

Yeah I'm pretty stressed.

Always had a widow peak, it's a little back now if anything.

Honestly my man it's probably the stress. And if it's just strands I wouldn't worry too much

I've had a very pronounced widow's peak all my life too

Not trolling, you're thinning in the front. The hairs that are falling out are from the front of the hairline. It's beginning to recede, that's why you're noticing it coming from your "bangs". That's where it starts for most men and where it started for me. It will continue to thin unless you get on a regiment (finasteride aka propecia and rogaine).

Hopefully.

My Mom didn't have any brothers so I wouldn't know if it's hereditary.

It started at the same age for me. Call your doctor and ask if he can recommend a hair specialist. If you have a dermatologist you use, they will be able to recommend you a hair restoration specialist as well.

Both my granddads and great granddads had a ton of hair and healthy hairlines, but my dad is almost bald. I've long accepted I'm going to eventually lose my hair, which is why I grow it out as long as possible until I have to cut it off

Depends on what route you choose. Generic fin is really cheap compared to most prescriptions and generic rogaine (minoxidil) can be had for cheap as well depending where you buy. There's also hair transplants, and other treatments as well which are more expensive but permanent. It'll depend on what route you wanna go.

Need to see pics of your hair, and i mean proper pics. Also, ask your parents if there is any baldness in either fathers or mothers side.

I shower less frequently now days, and when my hair starts get greasy i notice how i get some, or a lot of hair on my hands if i play with my hair. It has been like that all my life, and i still have my hair.

Hmm, my dad's going bald but then he's 50. Might pull out old pics to investigate when his hairline started receding

cyqqC6x Here's a picture that's a few months old
8lEIkjJh Pardon the mess. This one's a few minutes old. I shampood a few hours ago if that matters. Will get a better pic when I can, it's evening here and sunlight gets better pics

There's a pink band near my hand in the second pic, don't mind that, it's the lens, it's dirty I think

Sorry for hijacking the thread TC

Need to see pics like the on below + good light. I'm not expert on this, but i have checked my hair a lot, and i can do some comparisons. In our family there seems to be absolutely zero balding cases, yet i don't have super dense hair.

I guess what you should watch is actual uneven hair lines, not density. Our heads change a bit in shape as we get older, and usually gain more weight too, so some small changes isn't too reliable, unless its super noticeable.

I remember when i used hair products i got plenty of hair on my hands now and then, but that's normal. We lose like 50-100 hair everyday, we just don't notice it. Those that touch their hair more notices it more than people with short hair that don't touch their heads.
