Are you talking about the pro controller? If so, I like it. Though, I think it's way overpriced.

As in joycons, the pro controller or both? I just have the default joycons, but I've heard good things about the pro controller. My only real complaint about the joycons is my left one has some syncing issues, but you can send it in to get it fixed, and I think it only affects early shipments so you'd probably be good by now. Recent Nintendo controllers have often felt too small for me, but these have a good feel, despite that they are small. I find them to feel nice both in the controller dock and held separately.

Oh, using them on their side is not so great either. But most games with sideways joycon options for multiplayer also let you use the full sized controller. It's still nice to have the option, it works in a pinch for multiplayer if you don't feel like you play with other people enough to invest in another controller. Snipperclips is the only game to my knowledge where you have to use a sideways joycon
