I recently rewatched The Dark Knight. It's a little longer than it needs to be (though not so much as TDKR is). Its action sequences and Ledger still hold up though.

Dark Knight is better by a large distance. It is probably the best comic book movie that will ever be made for quite a long time.

I was a bit disappointed in Logan. Would probably rank it as the fifth best X-Men movie. Still pretty good though. Lots of great X-Men movies.

As for my opinion, I think objectively both movies are close enough where one cant be said to be clearly better than the other and it comes down to personal preference after that. On that note, I think The Dark Knight edges it out for me.

Logan

Dark Knight is better as a superhero flick, and Ledger is far and away better than any villain in Logan (mr. robohand is probably the least impressive aspect of Logan)

but Logan is just on another level for me. Jackman, Keen, and Stewart all give incredible performances, and I feel like overall Logan had much more of an effect on me than Dark Knight

Was way more invested in him as Wolverine than I ever was with Bale being Batman or Ledger being Joker and Logan was the end of Jackman playing the character after many years. I'd say Deadpool is the best superhero comic movie period though and it's not really close.
