I heard there was some twist that a lot of people complained about. I was expecting Peach was gonna save Mario or something.

But instead it was a pretty standard cartoon short ending where neither guy gets the girl. Which isn't even far off the standard Mario ending anyway.

Yeah Bowser got off easy in this game compared to other ones. He's usually melted or disintegrated lol.
