First had a battery pack on it for a half hour.

Now I've got it hooked up to a Nissan Titan and it's been attached for almost 30 minutes.

Piece of shit won't start though.

It's a Kia. Expecting it to be good was your first mistake. Brand new? Already broken? No shock there. Sounds like someone needs a real car and not a babymobile. I'm surprised they don't put inflatable donuts around those things to protect other drivers from them.

huh. i've never had a car with a dead battery not start when hooked up to a jump box. then again, i don't have to deal with snow right now

I've got another one with a defective battery.

Had it charging for almost 24 hours.

Only started when we swapped out the battery

Today I learned that of the two batteries in a Nissan Titan, the passenger side one is the better to use for jumping vehicles.

No idea why though.
