Like any good american tv show it will continue to run until it ploughs straight into the ground, bleeds for a while, suffers through several instances of cruel life support and eventually grinds to a halt, leaving everyone unable to remember why they ever wanted to watch it in the first place

Well they confirmed seasons 3 and 4 a long time ago. I don't know if they definitively said it would end at 4 though.
