Origins kept off because the new game hype is too strong right now. Only main console games so the handheld, one shot, and 2-d side scrolling spinoffs aren't included.

Pick the one that got you the most invested in the series if your invested at all. Listing them out now I really want to play rogue. Upgraded to ps4 by that time so I never even got the chance to get it.

Very unpopular opinion, but it might be AC3 honestly. It's a unique setting and era that's really never been explored to that degree in video games before, I'm one of the people who actually enjoyed the present day stuff and Desmond's arch. Having a native American protagonist and how that ties into the era/setting was really cool, the homestead stuff was a lot of fun my only complaint there is that there wasn't enough of it, and after the launch bugs got worked out it offered much more polished gameplay than the Ezio trilogy did.
I'd say it's either that or Black Flag but I like them for different reasons so it's hard to decide.

I haven't played Origins yet but it looks really good and might potentially be my new favorite when I eventually do, hopefully at least, I want it to be as good as it looks.

I've only played 3, 4, and Liberation so I'll choose 3 since I'm still completing 4.

Edit: I mistakenly voted for Black Flag, but I'm enjoying it so it's cool.

Agreed. I loved 3, totally get why the glitches turned people off. Liked the story well enough too and the Templars not being presented as completely evil again.

I soemhow got burned out on the series after only the first 3 games. I own Revealations, 3, and Black Flag. So I'll try to catch up some day. At the very least I'll try to finish Ezio's story with Revelations.

I loved 2 of the settings of the original, so I would probably love Origins. That was my favorite type of locale.

The first game just holds a special place in my heart.

Back then it was a new and exciting series and very unique. I love the setting and the way you had to hunt down the bad guys.

But then the second game departed from that with more story focus and less of an overworld.

I've played all of them except Rogue and my favourite one is still AC3. The atmosphere, the setting, the music, the characters, the story, the parkour, the naval combat... It was epic and much better than Black Flag, which I stopped playing after the first few hours.

I found Syndicate to be the worst one in the series.

Wait what? There was like 20 minutes of bare bones naval combat in 3, if that much.

Did you do all the side missions?

nah, bought 3 and 4 at the same time on black Friday and played pretty much only the story missions to get to what was the best in the series at that point.

There's more naval combat with the port missions and stuff but it's still stripped down a lot from what Black Flag offers.
