I've actually worked in catering for a bit. One of my events, we charged $800 in total to feed a good 50 people, giving a fruit platter, cheese platter, some local hot food, and drinks. $250 is absolutely not out of the question. I've been to a wedding at $250 a head for food. I've been to corporate events at $350 a head. My chef housemate has done events that cost over $100k in food and alcohol. And I'm a very far cry from the upper elite of society all gathering together for lunch. Putting together a complete food service is very different from shoving a bunch of hot dogs in a crate and warming them up. And this being the white house, I very much doubt it was paper plates and napkins. Can you imagine the costs involved in catering for the white house? Fuck 'em, if I got that gig I'd invoice for $1k a head. I'm not actually defending this level of expenditure, by the way. I do think it's outrageous that taxpayer money could be blown on hot dogs. But I also think it's a much more likely story that Obama got frivolous with tax dollars for a luncheon than obama flew in underage child slaves for a sex orgy. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. http://i.imgur.com/ILz2ZbV.jpg ... But the price tag is specifically for hotdogs and Pizza, nothing else. They even put waitresses in quotations.

It's the white house dinner. Do you really think it's the same exact thing? They freaking flew in a guy interstate to cook hot dogs. Does your company do that? Do you have any information about this party outside of a casual email? Vertania posted... This is where the e-mail links to the map (note the line that says "claimed by Mexico and the Texas"): Vertania posted... Scalia died at Cibolo Creek Ranch. It was a casual email between two people who both know each other and went to a party last year dude. Not a budget breakdown. I think they're even mocking the cost of the party. We don't actually know what the pricetag was for, since the comment seemed to be fairly offhand and didn't give an itemized bill. When I say my visa "cost around $10k", that presumes all the visa related costs that weren't directly for the visa lodgment itself. Darmik posted...Wait so there is no specific coordinates at all? Just a giant chunk of land? Just so I understand you correctly. You're claiming that a link on the Smithsonian education website that is showing a map of the United States in 1840 is secretly pointing to the Ranch using the "Claimed by Mexico and the Texas" arrow and this was used by a man in an email to point to an assassination position? Oh you didn't explain how the info in the email combined with the 1840 map if the US give the details (target, time, method etc.) for an assassination. Go ahead. I was under the assumption you jumped to this conclusion because of the map and pretty much nothing else.
