As long as the bot truly was random, I don't think it would matter if it saved. Maybe not every chance it could (with bot-like precision to save every hour, that would make it the most influential participant) but a few saves here and there wouldn't skew anything. Still, other people might feel differently

Trading rights as in 'if the bot randomly wants to save a character it has already randomly saved, it instead offers a trade' could work. It would barely ever happen and just be another neat feature. Being able to initiate trades with the bot on our own would be broken though, it would effectively give everyone two saves per character

the former is indeed what I was thinking about

currently the way that the 3% chance is made is that, at the start of the script a random number between 1-100 is generated, if it's less than 5 it triggers the post. so I could for that trigger out to 10% chance being a trade or whatever... or even 1% chance of free save
