What movie (or series) comes to mind when you think of the Horror genre?

Thought we'd try something a bit different since it's Halloween and all. So what's the horror movie that you think of when you think of a horror movie? We'll go back to the standard whatnot tomorrow with a trilogy of Jul-s. And if this goes well I'd love to do more themed ones. If it doesn't work then oh well.

I think Friday the 13th is the first thing that comes to my mind. I haven't even seen it but it's what popped in first, somehow it became ubiquitous with horror in my head.

Any nominations going forward would be cool. I have a big list of 'em now but if you suggest someone on there they can move up the rankings and come sooner. Also, if you have any input on how to improve the topic, let me know.
