In a scandal that was dubbed "Gropegate", Mr Schwarzenegger was accused five days before the election in 2003 of sexually harassing several women over a 25-year period, six of whom eventually came forward with their personal stories.

In a series of reports in the Los Angeles Times, three of the women claimed that Mr Schwarzenegger had groped their breasts and a fourth said he had placed his hand on her bottom underneath her skirt. A fifth alleged Mr Schwarzenegger had tried to take off her swimming costume in a hotel elevator while the last said he had pulled her to sit on his lap.

Four of the women remained anonymous, but the other two were Elaine Stockton, the wife of Robby Robinson, a bodybuilder and Anna Richardson, a British television presenter.

Ms Richardson went on to sue Mr Schwarzenegger and his aides for libel when he claimed she had encouraged his behaviour. In 2006, she settled out of court.

Mr Schwarzenegger eventually apologised, admitting that he had "behaved badly sometimes" but also stated that "a lot of what you see in the stories is not true". The apology came after an interview from 1977 in Oui, an adult magazine, surfaced, in which Mr Schwarzenegger said he had attended orgies and smoked marijuana.

A new memoir by Judy Garlands ex-husband claims the Dorothy actress was repeatedly molested by some of the actors who played the Munchkins in the classic musical.

Sid Luft, who was married to Garland from 1952-1965, described the alleged abuse in a new, posthumous memoir, Judy and I: My Life with Judy Garland.

They would make Judys life miserable on set by putting their hands under her dress The men were 40 or more years old, wrote the producer and business manager, who died in 2005.

She certainly didnt feel safe in the MGM offices of Louis B Mayer. In our house the word of Louis B Mayer became the law, Garland said later. He took to groping her in his offi ce, telling her as he put a hand on her left breast that she sang from the heart.

I often thought I was lucky I didnt sing from another part of my anatomy, she once quipped. Blackmailed into a hectic work schedule by the constant fear that their contracts would be torn up, Garland, along with other young stars, were given adrenaline shots, followed by downers like Seconal.

MAYER even sent people to spy on her to see if she was sticking to her daily diet of chicken soup, black coffee and 80 cigarettes to curb her appetite. Cheating would result in a reprimand and a trip to a doctor to be given diet pills, which gave her insomnia.

Theres a bunch of accusers against Travolta who have similar accusations, says plaintiff lawyer Okorie Okorocha. Many have contacted me, and Im still vetting their stories. More defendants might come forward soon.

Two masseurs listed only under the name John Doe accuse Travolta, 58, of improper behavior during massage sessions, according to the complaint filed in Los Angeles by the Pasadena-based attorney.

In retrospect pretty much any claim made before social media kinda gets overlooked. Michael Jackson being the big exception (which even then he was never prosecuted doing anything).
