Seems kinda suspect to me.

4th and 10 at DAL 18
(3:19 - 2nd) N.Rose 36 yard field goal is BLOCKED (T.Crawford), Center-N.Sundberg, Holder-T.Way, RECOVERED by DAL-O.Scandrick at DAL 10. O.Scandrick to WAS 4 for 86 yards (M.Moses). PENALTY on WAS-T.Way, Low Block, 2 yards, enforced at WAS 4.

1st and Goal at WSH 2
(2:59 - 2nd) (Shotgun) E.Elliott up the middle to WAS 1 for 1 yard (Z.Brown).
2nd and Goal at WSH 1
(2:20 - 2nd) Ezekiel Elliott 1 Yard Rush M.Nugent extra point is GOOD, Center-L.Ladouceur, Holder-C.Jones.

Apparently Orlando Scandrick got more points on his fantasy team for falling down at the 2 and the Cowboys having Zeke get the touchdown than he would have if he actually got the touchdown himself.

It's obviously not worth it to throw a game for your fantasy league unless it's actual gambling, and that's already against the rules.

If it's just a for fun, who can rack up the most points, sort of thing, and he's really dumb enough to throw a game for that, he doesn't belong on a 52 man anyways. Get him out.

I still don't understand how fantasy football works.

Essentially, you pick players from all teams a little before the beginning of the season. You get a certain number of slots for all choices. Before each game, you choose which players are your starters, leaving a few on the bench.

The relevant production (or negatives) your players get during the game affects how many points that player earns for you.

For example, a QB will get a certain number of points for yards thrown, yards run, and touchdowns scored (thrown for or run for). A QB will get points subtracted for interceptions and fumbles. A team's defense will get points for sacks, interceptions, and defensive touchdowns scored.

Players on your bench have their total scores recorded, but they don't count toward your point total.

Each week you are "playing" against another person in your fantasy league. Highest total score for that week in that matchup wins.

Hard to say for sure whether he "threw the game," since you could argue that he was legitimately tripped by an opposing player. Just kinda curious about whether he would have tried harder to keep his balance if he didn't have Zeke on his fantasy team. Impossible to prove, really, but... Makes me wonder.

Same with fantasy premier league. Not that weird for players to have a fantasy team as well.

I doubt anyone is doing some shady shit unless they have some insane money riding on it or something.

He stumbled after shaking off a tackle then another defender hit his foot as he was stumbling... Elliott wasn't on his mind in the moment, there was nothing strange about the play at all.
