My biggest problem is that I don't care.

Take my job, for instance. I don't care about the software I develop. It's stupid. One of my programs literally just displays data that used to be contained in a spreadsheet. One control, to choose a date. It's so stupid. If it breaks, they'll just consult the spreadsheet. Why did they even pay to have an application when they can just check the spreadsheet?

There's no challenge. The most complicated technical task is writing Linq statements and iterating through the result. The rest is literally just wading through dll hell, looking up thousands and thousands of datapoints to add to a list that the software queries.

There's no motivation. I don't even want the paycheck. There's nothing I want to spend it on. All it's for is buying food and paying bills. Which... I'm starting to even wonder why. You die without food. Cool, who cares? All I do is get up and go to work anyway. Come home, play some vidja. Highlight of the day right there, playing vidja for a few hours.

And that's why you see me here during business hours.
