The secret government agency actually wasn't that bad. Sure, they did some shitty stuff and they were willing to let a kid die to fix their mistake, but the organization in S2 seemed like a genuine group that lost control of their research and were trying to make it right. I mean, how many evil organizations in fiction just make people sign NDAs and offer psychological counseling to someone that suffered through their shit?

I agree but most of that was the new main guy. (Owens I think?) The others weren't as fleshed out but I was genuinely interested if he was spying on Hopper looking for El.

Almost until the end, I assumed that the new guy would turn out to be a bad guy and also be Max's stepdad.
So those two plotlines would be connected. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah, I thought Owens was going to betray them when he was leading Bob through the halls (like, he was gonna lead Bob right to the Demodogs or somethings). But he turned out alright, so that was neat.
Hopefully we learn more about the labs higher ups next season. Like, who's in charge of this "psychic kid" research, and what they're trying to get out of it. Because discovering the Upside Down was just a freak thing, as far as we know. --- http://i.imgur.com/1LrhmQE.jpg Kari Wahlgren: "Guys, I just can't wrap my mouth around it." ... Copied to Clipboard!

What I liked about Stranger Things was few people seemed to be outright evil. Everyone was likeable or, at the very least, understandable to some degree. They're flawed people who make mistakes.
