Besides the Eggos, I mean.
Like, everything with the 3 Musketeers, even THAT ascend at the end that didn't really have much of an emotional punch to it. I'm still reeling over watching the entire show in a 24 hour period, but it seemed reeeaaaallllyyy jarring this season. Almost aggressively so. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I feel like the reason it wasn't as egregious was that it fed into the nostalgia stuff which made it seem slightly more innocent. Movies like ET with the Reese's Pieces, the retro packaging for the candy. There was quite a lot, but it didn't really bother me

The KFC scene was pretty stand out

i think it may have just been an homage to how silly advertisements were in the 80s.

I vaguely remember the KFC scene, because (IIRC) a character actually refereed to it as K-F-C. Which is a bit strange, as they didn't start using the KFC initials until the early 90s.
