Rypt 10/28/17 4:21:16 PM #1:	Anyone ever hear this? I have heard some Christians say this before so I decided to ask my Christian friend if they really believe this. His response was: "No, the devil doesn't have a birthday because the devil was never a person. He was an angel named Lucifer and he was a spirit. Spirits don't have birthdays. The reason he hated Jesus is because God decided to give a human spirit like qualities and Lucifer thought that the qualities Jesus had should be reserved for spirits only. I always thought it was something related to people putting on masks and costumes to hide from spirits of the dead or some such. I never thought about it before, but the only year that I got to go trick-or-treating was the Halloween after my parents and I had moved two hours away from our old home. And, subsequently, our old church. It's funny how Halloween stopped being a day of devil worship and hidden razor blades the moment we were separated from the influence of the ultra-conservative church we had attended.
