In all seriousness, the game absolutely fucking oozes creativity and charm. Theres a surprise or hidden Moon around every corner and you are almost always rewarded for taking a chance on ...no way thatll work, but I guess Ill check with a new discovery. If people want to say they prefer Mario games with stricter level design A-B, I disagree but understand (though the game does have some tough platforming sections). People saying the game is bland, though, are just... wow. I feel badly for them because my only explanation is that they raised their standards to impractical levels or something. Every environment Ive encountered has been jam-packed with creative new gameplay mechanics, vibrant scenery, amusing locals, fun costumes, and at least a few areas that truly caught me off guard.
