Some of the controls have been a little hard to get used to so far (there is just so many moves you can do), but aside from that this game is addicting as hell. The first 2 levels are very guided tutorial levels... and then from the 3rd on its free reign. So fun just running around finding secret after secret after secret. They really got the exploration/discovery aspect from SM64 replicated here, but also the guided missions from Galaxy. As far as I can tell, each Kingdom has a bunch of 'story' moons that once you get one, the 'story' of that kingdom progresses and the next mission is revealed, but you are under absolutely 0 obligation to go for those moons and can just explore freely if you want. I love it so far, don't envision myself sleeping anytime soon. Glad I took Friday off work haha.

Just beat the questline in Tostarena. Cant bring myself to go to the next kingdom tho. So much stuff to do here!

Onto Lakeside now. Its a beautiful kingdom. Wooden was my least favourite so far.

Yes Lakeside is gorgeous. Also I love the little challenges in the hat doors. So far this game is a real joy to play.

Same here.

I knew this game was going to have a lot of collectibles, but I didn't expect there to be this many in each kingdom!
It's weird to think there are still 29 more moons for me to find here...

I didn't move on from Sand Kingdom until like 61 moons. It was really fun trying to figure out where the last few obscure moons were hidden. Obviously I gave up with 8 left but whatever.

That Cloud Kingdom Bowser fight was fucking awesome. Top 3 3d Bowser fight right there. Just beat it

I had more fun with galaxy

That makes two games I want for the Switch. Maybe I'll consider buying one soon. Just wish they would come out with Virtual Console already

I didn't even read anything in this topic. I'm going to take days off of work later this week to play it. I just wanna say I'm excited.

Beat the main story yesterday and started going through post game.

Man, I am missing a lot of moons. Took me until end game to notice you can pull up list of moons for each kingdom. Now, time to backtrack! which i am glad, for the earlier kingdoms are hazy to me already because I didn't spend too much time on each one.

Yeah I wasn't expecting that that was what would happen with those big metal moon rock things, but it was a pleasant surprise. Bonus points for marking all of their locations on the map so big dummies like myself can find the new ones

I have like 320 moons at the moment Just got to The Moon, which I assume is the final level. Dis game. <3 Dis fuckin game. <3

Also, that was the best iteration of Bowser's Castle ever.

i beat the game with only 162 power stones. you are a overachiever. once you beat the game it unlocks a lot more. There is no point in getting all of pre post game because you will have to go back anyway.
