I feel like eventually when the consoles life is way down the line they will just come out with a device that is linked to all the games you've bought which you can blu tooth your controllers to...cause why wouldn't they? Might cost ya an extra 100-200$ down the line but oh well.

Not only that, the console can actually prevent you from playing a physical disc if they want to. I recall the PSP wouldn't let you play officially released games unless you updated your firmware.
