For those that do, the mercury in thimerosal is in an ionic form that's far, far safer than the elemental mercury people are concerned about in fish (to illustrate the difference, elemental sodium bursts into flame on contact with water, ionic sodium is part of table salt and is essential for nervous system function). --- This is my signature.
