Seven episodes of nothing happening and then, as your climax, Paul Schneider's deadfaced ass played cards with a ten-year-old who I did not find believable as a child Paul Schneider because the child was able to emote. And then the last episode decided to do three months later, show that Schneider's still alive, and that Candle Cove is still showing up on TV....and then it flashes back to show that Aunt Petunia killed Schnieder, trapping both him and his brother in wherever the hell they were at. That was so idiotic I'm still not convinced that the SyFy app just didn't somehow air those scenes out of order.

And this just may be a personal opinion, but the puppets were creepier than the Candle Cove characters' "true forms." Jawbone was more disturbing as a children's puppet than as a skinthing that walked aimlessly around and stuffed knives into its face for no reason.
