but because they were hunting, I didn't have them equipped. I tried going out in a blaze of glory by using a turn equpping them and was gonna use their overdrives

I love the idea of Assassin Summoners. Theres probably hundreds of summoners we don't see and alot of them ARE probably way more loyal to Yevon than us. It makes sense they're attacking us and it makes even more sense they're coming out of nowhere

Anyways, I hit up a sphere, went to Djose road

and started running backwards back into Mushroom Road from the other side to hit up the monsters

I found one of those teleport dealies which took me upwards and I found a weird statue. It gave me the option of putting down the Rusty Sword here. i completely forgot I had this item >_>

then it unlocked a box inwhich I was allowed to use the mirror on and I got Auron's Masamune!

Awww yea. How the hell was I supposed to know to get some random sword and bring it here?

also I decided to engage the person at the desert and sure enough it was the person with Dark Ifrit.

Even with the best weapons in the game I stood no chance. Its actually pretty humbling. I'm at end game and i still have a long way to go

You get Rikku's Sigil by doing all the Cactuar stuff at Bikanel.

Nah, there should be a sidequest you can activate where you have to catch a bunch of Cactuars. It's not something you do in a battle.

I found the destruction sphere and got a Half MP Rod for Yuna

I dunno, that felt anticlimactic >_>

I did it again and I noticed there was another spot for a sphere

I put the destruction sphere in there and nothing happened >__>

Pretty sure if you've gotten the treasure, you're good to go.

Leon can double check maybe, but if you've gotten the treasure chest, that should satisfy it. Did you do all the puzzles? Six in total I think, though it may be a touch less.

Yeah, if you got the Destruction Sphere treasure, that's all you need. Baaj Temple next (with Stoneproof armors).

That's why getting the destruction sphere chests were so important. There should be 6 "idols" or altars, they light up when you get near them (and if you've gotten their corresponding chest). How many are you short? Bevelle and Besaid are automatic I believe, and you for sure got Zanarkand. Macalania is the common one people miss I think.

Best guess is Seymour put her there. The thing with fayths is that anybody can summon them, but even though Anima was a Final Aeon for Seymour, it couldn't be for Yuna because the bond isn't there.

He didn't use her, no, because he wanted to be Sin instead. Once he found out how the Final Aeon worked, he came up with that plan. It's why he wanted to marry Yuna and all that.

Also he had a very bleak outlook on Spira. Everybody is dying and suffering so if you destroy it all, that will end it

He also seemed to have manipulated the Guado. They've since snapped out of it though, I went there recently and they weren't holding a (huge) grudge over me

The next portion of the story I have to attend to is confronting Mika. So I guess I'll have any missing story parts filled in there
