They left 3 cracked/used egg shells in the carton this time ._.

If one of your roommates did something like this how would you react

For real though, I would just calmly say, "it's cool if you take an egg now and then if you don't have any and really need one but could you not leave the shells in there."

I have a roommate who has been using my skillet and blender, which I don't mind, but he'll just leave them uncleaned. I just asked if he could just wash them out whenever he uses them

Confront them in a friendly manner. Say something along the lines of "Hey bud I got a bone to pick with you, if you wanna borrow eggs that might be ok but make sure and I don't need them, and toss out the shells, that grosses me out"

The worst thing you can do with a roommate is let things stew or get passive agressive with them. You gotta communicate directly and set expectaions.

Yeah. But even still it often doesn't work. I've found a lot of dudes just have fucking awful living habits and will refuse to change them even after you confront them. I just resolve to change roommates asap if someone has a bunch of annoying habits

Agree 1000%

Hopefully it'll stop. I agree, never ever act passively aggressive to any roommate, glad nobody has done this up to now (1 year and 1 month so far)

Yea I live with 5 randoms and it's just this one guy. Don't think I need to leave but he is starting to piss me off. Idk if he is dumb or like I previously mentioned maybe just doing it on purpose to be annoying

Make a grumpy face at them and say, "Hey! Don't take my eggs!"

This shit isn't rocket science
