Yes the fight was two months ago.

But they said the dispute would take weeks to go through, so in the meantime they just credited my card with the $100 back.

I hardly even touch the thing, I can't specifically recall a time I even turned it on since the fight.

Like I said it takes a back seat to my Xbone...now it might find itself in the used section at EB games.

I'm talking about people who can't even understand you because of outsourcing. Almost all the major companies including the top 4 (Apple, Google, Amazon and Walmart) also have shitty outsourced support. Only thing is that Apple and Amazon put some effort in by just resolving it at tier 1 asap.

Calling on the phone seems like it's the best route directly to them, but that's not always the case these days. You'll get a lot of foreigners and get bounced around but they don't have the resources for what you need.

Because you went to the credit card company, you've taken that step to say "This company is fraudulent and I no longer want to do business with them." Going that route should always be a last resort. It's not enough money for them to sue you for it so they'll just let it go, but they will cut you off as their customer.

Unless TC said it was unauthorized and was committed by Sony, this is exactly what chargebacks are for. To dispute the charge. It's not automatically calling the company fraudulent and this was his last resort.

All companies except for Amazon have fallen in terms of customer support in the past 2-3 years. Worst than it already was.

They're all glorified script readers now who don't even understand your problem. They're basically using the help section of any given site or service, which you can easily do yourself.

Amazon has this problem too, that's why management gives them the power to just refund it and call it a day or dole out free credits.

They've had a system in place for that for almost a decade. You abuse and your whole family gets banned. There's always costs to these things and I doubt they're gonna stop when that customer service is what's made them the 4th largest public company on Earth.

I got banned too because I did a chargeback. They turned my PS Plus auto-renew back on after I shut it off. Did not know they did that but its in the contract that you agree to when you update like every other fucking day. But Fuck them I say.

I'm wondering if it would have truly stopped today if I didn't intervene. All PS Plus games said "ends 10/23/17"

Does it say that for everyone? As in it says ends on the day of the next renewal?

@LockeMonster Yeah they turn the auto-renew back on every time you purchase PS Plus. Good thing you cancelled, because they lock you out of Netflix, youtube and everything. There are 2 games I bought off PSN that I can't play either. I'm not sure what it says when your subscription ends.
