Just tried to log into my PS4

This account is banned

What.

I cant even begin to imagine what I would have done to get banned. I dont ever play online, I dont even have a headset I use on the PS4. Ive been subscribed to PS Plus for years and all I do is play single player exclusives. Theres no reason given to me anywhere. Not when I try to sign into the console, on the website, no email. Nothing.

So I google it and all Im seeing is thousands of other people who have been banned for literally no reason. Every one of them seems to be saying when they tried to fight it Sony just stonewalled them and told them nothing we can do

Ive always thought the PSN was a joke compared to XBL but Ive lost any respect Ive had for the company.

Absolute fucking nonsense.

Fuck, this situation is getting out of control. I'm in a PS4 fan group on Facebook and it's almost every day someone will post a screenshot saying they've been banned and they have no idea why. If that were to happen to me I'd truly be devasted. I have so many games on my PSN account.

Because I purchased the Conor/Floyd fight, which from SECOND ONE that it came online, we could not connect. When I had a house full of people come over to watch it and we missed the entire fucking thing, yeah I'm gonna call about a refund.

They refused to give me a refund, "nothing we can do" refused to acknowledge any failure of their service.

So I simply called the credit card company, who literally had so many calls about the same problem that I hardly had to explain the problem. I simply said "Mayweather" and within 2 minutes they they put that money back on the card and filed the dispute.

So when I call them today the first lady I talked to explained why and said I had to pay that $100 back to get the account unbanned. I said get fucked.

So for 40 minutes of going in circles, them refusing to admit any problems with the service, saying it could have been a problem with my service provider, getting transfered to a "supervisor" who gave me the same run around.

Hung up the phone. Fuck them, fuck the company and fuck anyone who defends these pieces of shit.

Never had such poor customer service.

That does suck and you should fight it more. It's comforting to me to know there actually is a reason, although that reason is BS. My fear is just randomly losing access to all my games and they don't know why I'm banned but there's no way to overturn it.

Wouldn't you say it is fair that the 100 was stolen from the TC? He paid money for the match, and never got to see anything.

If it was just 5 bucks or 10 I can imagine letting it fly, but a 100 bucks is quite excessive.

For perspective, a provider here in the Netherlands holds rights to some important soccer games, those matches can also be bought. Due to some fuck up, lots of people didn't get to see a match yesterday. Even though it was only like 8 or 9 bucks to watch, lots of people got reimbursed.

Dude, that is a fucking stupid reason to get banned. I thought you were hacking games on their service or something and got caught, but this was just negligence and bad customer service. Keep fighting them and share your experience with others. There's bound to be a way to settle this problem.

They put the fight on their store, I purchased it form their store, it didn't work. They're giving me my money back, I don't give a shit if it was their servers, if it was beyond them and a problem with the PPV itself. They're all glorified script readers now who don't even understand your problem. They're basically using the help section of any given site or service, which you can easily do yourself.

Amazon has this problem too, that's why management gives them the power to just refund it and call it a day or dole out free credits.

Other companies don't do that and don't care if customers are happy or sad. Then a few years later, they're bitching about how Amazon has stolen all their thunder and they are filling for bankruptcy.

What you should have done, and what you need to do at this point, is put in an official claim with them. Calling on the phone seems like it's the best route directly to them, but that's not always the case these days. You'll get a lot of foreigners and get bounced around but they don't have the resources for what you need.

Because you went to the credit card company, you've taken that step to say "This company is fraudulent and I no longer want to do business with them." Going that route should always be a last resort. It's not enough money for them to sue you for it so they'll just let it go, but they will cut you off as their customer.

In all seriousness, I work in customer service (retail) and it can be a two-way street. I try to help people out as best I can, but there are some nasty, entitled pieces of shit out there. Its tough finding the middle ground between making sure your customer is genuinely satisfied and getting taken advantage of.
