Peaked at S7E1. I never seen a show fall as quickly as this after that one episode, the hype leading up to it was insane. And it was indeed a bomb ass episode, but just the story just became so dull afterwards.

Despite people getting pissed, they still tuned in for the next season opener (second highest ratings for the show ever) but its lost viewers over season 7 for various reasons. I still watch the show but god damn it is so brain dead now.
I feel like it used to be about characters, back in the first two seasons. Like, people interacted with each other about how to cope in this new world, and had dynamic relationships and all that. Now it's just bleak, depressing combat. Nothing means anything because everything is so awful. Nothing interesting ever happens. It's just one side always getting the best of the other side, and taking turns. It's just about conflict between two teams now, and it has been like that for a long time. There's no mystery, no mystique, no interesting elements that make you think. It's just mindless. The best course of action for all characters involved would be to just all commit suicide at the same time. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
