So, for certain (like 100% sure) you know I am not a "professional"?

Nice assumption.

As it would apply to anything in this topic? Oh yes. Definitely!

Potentially as it would apply to anything but I can't say for certain there.

I recommend you to rotate your meds every 3 mods to diminish tolerance make user to use meds that use different mechanisms of action. I developed tolerance to Ritalin and my old doctor just keep increasing the dossage untill he told me to take 1 month med vacation cold turkey....my current doctor prescribed modafinil to me in the off months:

This is how my creatment works:

3 months of Ritalin on week days
3 months of Modafinil in week days
Coffee on weekends

Coffee is actually pretty good but the problem is that tolerance is developed too quickly all people who consume cofee daily have built a high level of tolerance, so discontinue cofee when you take your meds so you can use it in your off days

Hey maybe don't be a fucking asshole for something to do when you're bored. meds could help with that, ask your doctor

Yes I do have a bike.

That's stuff to discuss down the line for sure. I used to just have coffee on some weekdays but then couldn't sleep properly. It's tea now on week days.

It kind of quiets the extra mental noise but it sure doesn't actually help me remember things or get tasks organized and executed. At best it helps me do lazy fun stuff. Which is not what my concern is.

And it's totally inappropriate for use with work and driving so that's out.

I really appreciate the lazy, fun stuff. Whether I'm on my meds or off, it's super hard for me to properly relax. Does that count as helping ADHD? I guess it must

My boss even offers to let me smoke weed on the job, which is super hilarious to me. Sadly I have to decline because there's no way for me to focus while high, it's impoooooooossible. It'd be neat though.

i had been gone a year, i get back, announce my kid is due, and how my feelings have slightly changed on my abortion stance...ok?

i mistake one of the weeks with another when discussing fetal development stages, and she basically tells me i have no knowledge on how pregnancy works, or how fetuses develop, heavily implies i'm lying about having a kid (very original, especially for this board), and is rude and condescending the entire time, ok?

i haven't talked to this person in over a year, and she's basically telling me i'm a liar and know nothing, and the most important thing in my life right now is bullshit. i'll totally admit, she is very nice to others. but she has this condescension about her and a superiority complex towards me for some reason, ok?

Oh I agree. I can "relax" in the sense of not doing things but I'm not relaxed. I'd say it alleviates some symptoms for sure.

Yesterday i remembered things with a list (most importantly I remembered to make and bring the list) and didn't have to go back anywhere. I actually had a hot bath and read a book for a while last night after getting a bunch of errands done. Chilled out for an hour in the tub. it was pretty freakin awesome. I may finally get through George RR Martin's works

I couldn't be stoned at work. It just wouldn't be good. There's a lot to listen and react to. As much as it would make a lot of the people more bearable. The focus is also not there for me.

It's not good for you or anyone. I don't seek out people I don't like and most people don't do that either.

That's also what you did previously. For years. It's not just about the baby.

i like how you consider downtime and multitasking during work (which is really the only time i post) is equivalent to "wasting time for years". like collectively my posts have accumulated to literal years, lmao. my family is so attention-deprived because i've been sitting on my computer for literal years... talking to you.

You were misdiagnosed.
You can't grow tolerant to the chemical in your brain that's used for sending signals.
Adhd just means you have too little of this chemical. Ritalin boosts this chemical because your natural production can't keep up.
Eventually, like me, your brain adapts to the imbalance and you no longer need the drug to function properly, but takes increasingly more of it to maintain that feeling that it's working.

I strongly suggest weening yourself off the drug at 18 years old. Only use it for big tests, etc, so that your at your maximum focus. And be completely off the drug before your first job interview.

That's very kind, thanks. This is just what some people to with their time I guess

I'm happy to be improving my life and some people are happy to continue doing what they do.

Got 4 web pages constructed, a brochure finalized, had a meeting about writing a news article, took photos, sketched out the new site design outlines, now working on some web forms. All before lunch and without coffee. I may even have everything done earlier than I thought even without a looming deadline. And I have made it to work 5 minutes early the last few days without any issue. What a difference!

Now I'm really pumped to finish my 2 responsive web design courses to improve on what's already built. I've got my photography site mentally planned out. It's really cool when you normally can't plan shit!

I have at a couple of points in my life. It's an improvement over a convenience based diet that's full of refined starches and sugars. I hate it.

But going high carb low fat with low GI carbs has been way better for me. Especially after cutting out the junk. It actually got me together enough to go seek help.

Exercise makes a big difference. My knee has been out of commission for the last week and I'm itching to get back to the gym. Can't push it. Will keep walking and doing stretches for now.

I promised myself more sims later after finishing at least 2 chapters of work. I'm hoping I can finish the remaining 6 chapters today (4 hours of video) before I get anything going in a game again.
